5.3 Chemicals and Materials
- REACH: Focus on substances of high concern (SVHC) Notification and Restricted Substances Compliance, ProvideSCIP/SVHCDeclarations (by customer and product).
- RoHS: Containing electrical and electronic products to limit lead, mercury, cadmium, etc.
- Parts in contact with drinking water: some member states have stricter national health certification (e. g. GermanyDVGWetc.), according to the requirements of the project.
5.4 Core Requirements for Import Customs Clearance
- EU importers must have EORI。
- Correctly classify and pay customs duties + Country of destination VAT(may be approved by the Financial Representative/importer deduction mechanism treatment).
- Whether concerns apply carbon border regulation mechanism (CBAM）(Currently, it is mainly aimed at specific high-carbon basic materials; if raw materials such as steel and other raw materials need to be verified separately for export, most of the cases of the whole machine parts are judged by the classification as the case).
- Provide commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin (can be combinedRCEPdoes not directly cover the EU; general certificate of origin or customer specified format may be used).

5.6 Key Points of Operation
